The room at Cathkin Cottage is absolutely lovely. The comfortable bed with luxury linen made my stay so enjoyable. And let me tell you, the black-out curtains were a game-changer for those lazy mornings!

I personally found the view from my room a bit disappointing, but hey, that's just my subjective opinion. Others may still find enjoyment in it.

Great location with easy access to mountain hiking trails within a 10-minute drive. Safe area with the only potential trouble being baboons. Delicious breakfast that keeps you full for half a day. Easy communication with the friendly personnel who provided helpful tips about the area. Enjoyable pool and cozy common area with games and activities. Large common kitchen and plenty of dining options nearby.

We stayed at Cathkin Cottage for our honeymoon and loved every moment. The lovely big bed and excellent breakfast choices were highlights. The garden outlook to the Drakensberg was magnificent, and the owner's advice on local attractions and restaurants was very helpful. Leila and Roy, the hosts, were the best we've experienced - so friendly and helpful. We already miss it and can't wait to come back!
